We have just spent a week at the Mash Room and had a lovely time. The cottage, although compact, has been tastefully renovated and the standard of finish is extremely high. The furnishings are stylish and comfortable and every inch of the place is spotlessly clean. Our two terriers loved the enclosed courtyard and it was reassuring to know that they were perfectly safe, as the road can be quite busy. There’s not much space for storing clothes, shoes, bags etc. but the cottage is so nice, you soon get over that. Zoe, the Operations Manager is very helpful and efficient, which makes your stay easier. Well worth the money!
Lovely property, spotlessly clean, and in a good location for facilities, like train station, walks for dogs, and local takeaway food
It would be helpful for the accomodation information, if there was a reliable and trusted doggy day care. Cottages cater for dogs very well, plenty to do in the area, but many activities you cannot take dogs.
A** rating for this property true luxury just as described definitely returning to this location cleanliness is of the highest quality. Would recommend this location to everyone who is looking for a break are a long holiday.
The Mash Room (cottage No.6) was absolutely perfect for us and Bert our yorkie.
The Mash Room stands alone opposite the other cottages and has its own secure front garden/patio great for Bert.
We wanted for nothing in the cottage , everything had been thought about and the standard of finish is excellent.
Will definately be back.
Our break away was a last minute thought, but what a great place we’ve found. The approach to the cottages is eye catching and exceptionally smart, once inside the Mash Room cottage the first thing we noticed was how clean and perfectly presented the accommodation is. It has all the facilities you need and the bed is so comfy, the shower/toilet is compact but manageable and the shower was just perfect. We could not really fault anything about this wonderful cottage which is a credit to the owners, we will certainly be looking to rebook and visit again. Thanks for a great short break 🙂
