A beautifully decorated cottage with everything you need for your stay, close to Skegness and local shops, I would definitely stay here again.

This was a truly fabulous cottage. Modern clean and comfortable and furnished to a very high standard. Good location in a pretty village with easy travel to local beaches and visitors attractions
I booked a week just for me and my dog, Ted to get away from it all. The Mash Room was perfect in every way. Quiet location, beautifully decorated to the highest standard and spotlessly clean. I’d read previous reviews and had been a tad concerned about the perceived lack of hanging space, but they’d clearly acted on that feedback as there was an extra armoire installed in the living room which was the perfect space to hang coats, store footwear and keep the dog harness and lead out of sight. The modern kitchen was incredibly well kitted out with clear instructions on use. Private parking was perfect too. Ted had a great time, with plenty of beautiful walks a short distance away, and the small private “garden” was perfect for him to enjoy the sun we enjoyed the weekend we arrived. I was also pleasantly surprised to find fresh milk, orange juice, more tea and coffee than I’d ever need and the most delicious biscuits in a fully stocked biscuit barrel on arrival.. this was an extra special touch. I highly recommend Royal Oak cottages and will be looking to return with Ted. The only “negative” is there was no hoover or mop, so I was forced to relax 100% for the whole week.. I was devastated… honest haha 🤣
Fabulous accommodation, comfy beds, great kitchen, big TV, all good.
If you want to stay in Wainfleet I doubt you will find better.
We have just spent a week at the Mash Room and had a lovely time. The cottage, although compact, has been tastefully renovated and the standard of finish is extremely high. The furnishings are stylish and comfortable and every inch of the place is spotlessly clean. Our two terriers loved the enclosed courtyard and it was reassuring to know that they were perfectly safe, as the road can be quite busy. There’s not much space for storing clothes, shoes, bags etc. but the cottage is so nice, you soon get over that. Zoe, the Operations Manager is very helpful and efficient, which makes your stay easier. Well worth the money!

Lovely property, spotlessly clean, and in a good location for facilities, like train station, walks for dogs, and local takeaway food
It would be helpful for the accomodation information, if there was a reliable and trusted doggy day care. Cottages cater for dogs very well, plenty to do in the area, but many activities you cannot take dogs.
Beautiful cottage very modern & clean & the hot tub was just perfect.
Not a lot to do in Wainfleet however if you’re looking for something more lively Skegness is about a 10 minute drive
